Nothing seemed real. It never did, and maybe it wasn't. Maybe everything I thought I knew was a lie. All my memories, all my fears. And what if it was, what do I do then? Do I continue to live in this world where I'm nothing more than a mere number? Or do I fight, fight for something more, something bigger than myself. Even if it cost me everything.

Stripped of your names, homes, families and left with nothing but a scar of a prominent number representing everything you are. How can one number define you? Ella Campbell has survived most of her life as an orphan, with only her younger sister, Lydia, and best friend Danny, to help navigate through the chaotic society they lived in. After being taken to a supposed sanctuary with thousands of others, all with one thing in common, the vivid memories of their parents deaths. Will Ella be able to see the truth behind the lies? Or will she continue to fall further into this life of deceit? Tensions will rise, lies will surface and lives will be lost, but in this world there are far worse things than death.

Exile: The Book of Ever by JamesCormier
30 parts Complete
Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.

Ezra Sparks woke up one morning in a hospital bed with no recollection as to who anyone was -- unless he'd met them before he was nine years old. Unfortunately, Carmen Bailey didn't meet Ezra until he moved to London, at ten. So how come a boy who only remembers living in Cornwall, woke up in a hospital in London, watching a girl beg for him to remember her? How had he gotten there? ~~~ Carmen soon finds herself, all those years later, still loving someone who had no idea they used to love her. They made a vow; a promise to each other forever and the only way to make that promise last would be to do the impossible and create love as a cure for memory loss.
