The world had it's fair share of misfits though none of them could compare to her. Annabelle De La Fontaine was her name and others shunned her for who she is. She can't change the fact that she's different nor can she ignore the fate she has yet to face. Annabelle was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at a young age and her life has never been the same. It was common knowledge that those who suffered from the disorder had multiple voices in their head, when they should only have one dominant voice. Those who have the disorder were monitored by the government as they wait for the right time to take them. 
Year after year, people had been taken and used as test subjects, and those who were taken have never come back. This scared Annabelle, and she didn't want to become the government's science experiment. She tried running away, and was always caught. Her mother and father scolded her, saying that the government watched over everyone and no one was to disrupt the peace.All Rights Reserved

Nico diAngelo didn't really have a problem with moving, he just continued his life how it was before. Writing, listening to music, sitting in the back of the classroom, making sure not to get too close to anyone, and maybe falling asleep in class. Also spending half of his energy keeping himself from falling apart. That is, until he met Will. Will was like medicine for his heart. When Will held his hand, it felt as if he could relax and let go of his troubles, but when he had to let go, that was something he wasn't ready for, causing to have meltdowns for the first time in a long time. Will had been living a rather boring life in his town, same faces, same friends, he wanted change. When the new boy was in some of his classes at the start of the new school year, Will couldn't help but be curious after seeing the same faces almost all of his life. He was drawn to him in some way he couldn't describe, and couldn't help falling for him as they spent more time together. This book has characters that are created by Rick Riordan, yet there are a few, like Nico's father which is a small character that I created. This book has come from my own imagination, and if it seems that parts of the plot are from another story, that is entirely coincidental.

Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life. And when his parents allow him to meet werewolf males, he still doesn't feel any connection to any of them. When he sees a small male human brought forcefully into the pack, he suddenly feels something he hadn't felt before. A mate's connection. But, how would Will's pack react to having a human alpha? They bring her outside out back and in a white van. They threw her in the back and slammed the door shut, leaving her in the darkness. After hours and hours, the doors to the back opened and she fell out. They knocked her out. When she regained consciousness again, she was in the back of the van, but it felt more crowded than before. When her eyes opened, she saw 2 guys standing above her. "Who-who are you? S-stay away from me!" She yelled, crawling away from them. "Hey, hey,hey,hey. It's okay, we aren't going to hurt you." The blonde one said. What will the three of them do to escape? Will they escape? Or will they be there forever? *Warning* Sexual content, mild violence, mild language. Read at your own risk. The horror parts of the story are spread throughout, but the major part is towards chapter 70. Again, read at your own risk.

In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride.
