Several years after an alliance between the ghouls and the CCG is made, a boy from America is reborn into a ghoul of unknown power. The CCG must secretly break the alliance to destroy him at the command of Arima and Angel Rayne. When the ghoul is caught up in a fire, he under goes surgery to be saved. The operation suddenly goes sideways and a new threat emerges and the past and present collide. The ghouls and the CCG must band together with an enemy bent on killing Arima and Angel Rayne in order to prevent a war.
