After the Rebels escape and Kylo Ren's rise to power, he and Rey meet again on the battle field. A member from the Knights of Ren is brought to the First Order for the council of Supreme Leader Kylo. But after only a few months of holding seat, the First Order plans a coup to over throw Kylo. After the coup's success, Kylo Ren was left to fend for himself, a fugitive with a bounty on his head, with Jareth Ren as Supreme Leader.
Will Kylo own his defeat, and return home? Or will he be forever lost - a wandering child of the Galaxy.

Star Wars Episode IX: Duel of the Fates
(AU) Luke is gone. Kylo Ren is the new Supreme Leader. The Resistance is all but decimated. Now, all responsibility falls on Rey to balance the Force and bring an end to this war. But as a relatively untrained Jedi, she will not be able to find balance in the Force when she cannot find balance within herself. With whispers of Palpatine's return, the Dark side has been growing stronger and stronger every day. Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens!
