Jesse McCree was just like fire. Destructive, bright, blazing with energy, yet at the same time providing much needed warmth on the coldest of days. Everything about him radiated heat, whether it be from the embers of the cigarillo always inbetween his lips, or that toothy grin that practically beamed the sun's rays.
Hanzo Shimada was everything opposite to him; cold, bitter, and sharp-tongued, yet at the same time he could not help but be drawn near to this man's heat. He despised him. He despised himself for wanting to be so close to him. The fire was melting down the walls he had struggled to build up for years, spreading and crackling until nothing remained.
And just like fire, he burns.

When Hanzo enlists in the army to fight the war against the omnics, Jesse can't bring himself to miss out. Building limbs for soldiers and trying his best to contribute to the war at hand, he finds himself being sent to the base Hanzo inhabited. After he gets instructed to create limbs, he finally gets to meet one of the victims. Heartbroken, he fights to help him walk again. (ADDITIONAL NOTE: Omnics are the opposition in this, though everyone is human. Ana's scope was perfectly in place on top. I moved to a spot where I could see the range clearly but was hidden to everyone else. I looked through the scope to aim for a training robot, but instead I saw a person standing in the way, back turned. I moved away from the scope and got a clear look at the man. He wasn't anyone I recognized, who could he be. The new recruit? He had a revolver in his holster and wore a giant hat on his head. He sort of looked like a, what was the name... Cowman?
