Starve, binge, purge, repeat.
This is the cycle that Gerard Way has followed since he was 12 years old, from the moment his mother and his peers began referring to him with that awful word. The three letter word that made him lose all hope, all confidence, all happiness.
"Fat."
That word haunted him. It followed him wherever he went. It kept him in line.
Part of him did it just so that perhaps someone other than his kid brother would notice him, worry about him, care about him.
But no one did.
No one, that is, until a chance encounter, with someone whom had been there the whole time, changed his views on others, and most importantly, on himself.
This encounter made him realize that, amongst everything dark and evil in this world, angels existed and he had just fallen for one.

"When someone is constantly exposed to evil, they too will start doing bad things."
In the age of bell bottoms and roller discos, the only thing on Frank Iero's mind is cigarettes and books. But that soon changes when his mother is diagnosed with lung cancer.

But there's something incredibly strange and uncanny about Gerard. Will Frank figure it out before it's too late?
