Ninjago is nothing but a wasteland after the fall of the Green Ninja. Demonized by radiation, Kai becomes too much for Nya to handle. One shot drabble. Trying my hand at second person writing. Trigger warning for some violence and death.

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. (Cover made by Platypusrocks on deviantart) Random rant: how is this poorly written story getting so many reads? I rushed the whole thing and kinda just made up the end to be sad bc why the heck not BUT I'M SO THANKFUL TYSM TO EVERYONE WHO IS READING OR HAS READ IT!
