Everything was normal for Jay until the day her father went to jail. Though her normal is very different from anyone else's normal. Her mother had pressed charges for abuse. But not all was good yet. The cycle of abuse had started to circle through the household. She was now as abusive as her ex-husband.
After hurting Henry, their mother was also taken to jail. Anika, Ashton, Henry and Jay are left orphaned and must stay at Jays best friend Carah's home for the time being.
