Emilie Bryant was happy with her lot in life. She had an amazing job, in one of the prettiest places in the world, with some of the best friends she could ask for.
But one day, tragedy strikes, and Emilie is left, heartbroken and lost. She leaves her old life behind her, to move to Australia, hoping to start a new life.
There, she meets the boys who make up the Bondi Lifeguard Team, and she thinks she may have found her new home.
But what happens when someone from her past reappears? Someone she's been running from since her days in high school? Can the boys help her? Or is she doomed to forever be on the run?

I do not own Bondi Rescue and do not claim anything as my own aside from Hadlee and the storyline. This is a FANFICTION. I do my best with facts and speech. Although I am not from Australia, I try to look up common and popular slang terms and phrases. I know that some epilepsy facts aren't entirely accurate, and I am trying my best to make them as precise as possible. I do not, in any way own Bondi Rescue. I do own Hadlee and my story line. A Bondi Rescue fanfiction. Her physical health is bordering dangerous, and she simply has not will left. The monsters in her own head seemed to have been gaining ground and she doesn't seem to have the strength to fight back. Jethro is little better. Though maintaining a steely façade, his friends and coworkers have noticed the depressing shift in his behavior and attitude. Harrison and the other lifeguards take it upon themselves to get both Jethro and Hadlee back to their usual smiling selves, and they intend to help begin to mend the tear in the young couple's relationship in the process.
