Abroad
The purpose of this poetry book is one of defiance. Not to others, or anything in particular. It is against the war we wage internally, against ourselves every day. There is no bigger challenge in life than facing your thoughts, your true emotions, your feelings when you lie alone at night by yourself, cornered. We tend to postpone them, shelf them, as we grow accustomed to our daily activities, never giving ourselves a chance to evaluate ourselves. Who are we? what do we lack? what do we need? In this book, I took it upon myself to air out all of my grievances, my intimate thoughts, my happiness, my disappointments, my sadness all out in the open, for all to see. I wanted to face it all. To stare my mortality dead in the eyes, and let the lingering stare sit, I wanted to simmer the feeling of weakness, of every single type of emotion, completely digest it, and let it manifest genuinely, reading it, again and again, perfecting it, again and again, until the feeling of pain subsides. I there is anything that I want you to take from this book, is time. Yes, just a word, time. It goes by, so have not regrets, and never leave something from saying. If you are looking for a sign to remind you, to tell you parents, brothers, sisters, daughters, grandparents, wives, friends you love them? This is it...

Thursday
The depths of my mind and dialogue of it all. My thoughts. My fakeness. My lies. My confessions. My Raw mental conversations. My weakness. My complicated life. The nonsense that creeps up in my head when I'm thinking. There is no need to understand. There is no need to feel pity. This is Thursday.
An Act of Kindness
Things keep disappearing on Amy, and no one else notices or remembers. But the truth will set her free, even if it's beyond her imagination. "A novella in which the narrator notices the world changing about her in ways that others do not. People and places seem to be suddenly gone. The psychological play here is nice and spins this tale into a thriller." - Jaffa Kintigh

i exist [as the definition of nonexistence]
/ˌnänəɡˈzistəns/ the fact or state of not existing or not being real or present. (alternatively: the state of having dug your own grave into the wet earth of a forest far from everyone who ever pretended to care, lying down and letting maggots make homes inside the cavity of your vacant lungs)

ALL THAT REMAINS Book 3
Sanity, what is it? The definition I often ask myself. I am so confused I don't know where to look. I am lost in the dark and can't find the light! Isn't that what our world is all about now? Darkness and death? Everyone I know is gone, what is left? Do I even deserve to live? Book 3 of 4.

These Insufficient Words
Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. -Robert Frost This is my own collection of thoughts. My own stories, through the deepest sorrow and highest peaks of happiness I've had in my rather brief life, and some that others may also be able to relate to. Sometimes, words are insufficient. Sometimes, they're too accurate to emotionally bear. Sometimes, they're what provokes the deepest part of your soul. You be the judge on how poetry affects you. You read; I just tell the stories. #thecosmicawards2018
