Jared-Rose Carmichael is the 'new girl' in a town just as strange as her. She had a rough start in life, was never really outspoken or fit in with those around her. She was happy with living within her own little bubble but tired of being caged. Her grandmother was her only escape and with her recent death, provided Jared a chance to start a life of her own. So, Jared left her foster home and found herself moving into her grandmother's home in a town she have never heard of before. A town where the residents seem drawn to her, especially Leonhart, the town's leader. With the guidance of her grandmother's diary and the help of her unique friends, she begins to learn more about this odd town, its people, the world which surrounds them and about the entities within us all.
