This is a story of a normal seventeen-year-old girl forced into a war between good and evil. At seven they separate her from her twin brother by a strange man and sent to live with her mother and grandmother. Gabriel rescues her, and the need to train her for a battle which her ancestors have fought for the side of good every one-hundred years. Throughout her ordeal she encounters creatures which want to kill her, and monster that accept her into their family. She finds love and comfort in the enemy's armies and fight her brother to save the world. Can she have the fortitude to save the world from total chaos, or does she save her love and allow the world to seep into darkness?
