Island Shade was just a normal girl who learned to be content with her life, although her friends encourage her to aim for the high-life. Ignoring her friends' advises, she basks in the advances of a frequent customer, Darius, a handsome and yet lonely young man who seems to always enjoy Island company. However, when Island falls in love with Darius, she realizes he had not been honest about himself. A series of events indicate that Island's life is no longer her own: it's apparent she is being followed, there are just too many secrets and a realization that she can never reclaim the quiet and humble life ever again, and it's all thanks to Darius!
