Finally free!!! After 14 years of being physically, mentally, sexually abused she was free. Katana or Kate for short, finally was able to get away from her abusive family, when a she burnt down their house. She was a very rare hybrid shifter, she could not only shift into a were wolf but she could also shift into a black lion, a bald eagle, white tiger and could even go a little fishy ;). Not only that but she I s also immortal. When her family found oh on the night she shifted into four animals in a cycle on her 6th birthday after that they became even worse then they were before. But now she is finally free!!! She is now a complete rouge. No pack, no tribe, no one, but her silver dagger and black katana. She moves from place to place, moving like a ninja in the night. One day when she is in the sky she hears an ear piercing scream but she is to far in the wood for anyone else to hear it unless camping near by, but she hasn't seen anyone for miles upon miles. So doing what she does best she goes to help the girl. Only she doesn't know that this one save is going to lead her straight to her fate... With very cocky mate.... ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~. Sorry I'm not very good at summaries but I promise the story is better... I think ;) and just an FYI my readers none of this in this book has ever happened to me i have never been abused or raped...

A rustle came from the bushes. I whipped my head up, and a pair of luminous eyes met mine. Both fear and panic held me to the ground. I couldn't scream or move. The eyes blinked and lowered toward the ground. They took a step towards me and I matched it, taking a step back. A low growl came from the figure and that seemed to release me from my paralysis. I turned and ran, slipping as I came round the fence, my heart pounding. The heavy footsteps were coming impossibly close and this refueled my muscles and I sprang up coming round to the gate of the fence. As I ripped the gate open, I was slammed to the ground. Teeth pierced the skin in my leg and I let out a shrill scream. I felt myself being dragged backwards towards the trees. I let out another scream and tried to kick my attacker. With a growl, claws came and gashed my other leg and a scream ripped past my lips. Just as I was being dragged into the trees, the pulling stopped. I tried to crawl away and then to stand and run, but the searing pain left me falling to my feet. Blood was pouring out of my leg and I could feel myself slipping away. My attacker crouched, ready to attack again and I helplessly tried to crawl away all the while waiting for the pain and teeth to come again.... ---------------------------------------------------- One night will change Kate's life forever. It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. 'Book 1 in the Shifter series' My name is Celina Birch and until yesterday me, and my siblings; Sydney and Alexander but Alex for short, thought we were human. Turns out we our from a family of shifters but, we would not know thy due to our parents dying when we were young and being adopted. The animal you shift into does not run in blood like people think. Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.Завершенная история
