So when an elder tells her of the Great Wolf, who might be able to help her, she is eager to find him. Some very power-hungry people figure out about Nix's family's genetic gift, but, more specifically, about Nix's personal gift, too. While on the run to find the Great Wolf, Nixie has to deal with humans, friends, enemies, allies, and unexpected love, too.
