Best friends Cassandra (Cassie) and Cora were normal kids, that is until the New York Mutant Research Center (NYMRC) gets ahold of them. The two friends are told that they have mutations in their genes, causing them to have special powers. The NYMRC explains that they research the "Muties" and in return for the data collected, gave them comfortable living spaces and lessons on how to control their powers. Cora and Cassie soon meet the other Muties, they discover quickly though, that being a Mutie isn't all fun and games. Evangeline (Eva) Leroux soon proves that. Eva brings the girls into her group of friends, Violet, Jordan, and Sean are nothing like the other Muties at the complex. They call themselves the "Wanderers" and convince Cora and Cassie that NYMRC is evil. Their goal is to escape the NYMRC . . . and potentially destroy it.

Mia and Josh got found out by Sentinel Services. They were found by the Mutant Underground only by chance. Esme is trying to be good, making friends, helping out, but is it enough? New challenges are faced every day. The Inner Circle is still up and running and they are trying to take the underground down in new ways all the time. The Purifiers are still attacking mutants at an increasing rate. Sentinel Services was hunting Mutants and they were getting closer and closer to the Underground. WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. He was fast, just like me. No one could see me when i run. Except him. it was obvious. He was a mutant. - Crystal is a 16 year old girl. She was living a happy life until her older brother lost control of his powers and Blew her Family's car in a road trip. She survived because she were able to run out, but she couldn't save her family. She has been living alone ever since with the money her parents have saved up and hid in her basement. She has several different powers.
