Ashlyn's heart is painfully torn between her love for a best friend and Edith's brother Jared and a commitment to her father - to marry a wealthy man with an enviable title and save her family from bankruptcy. 

Ashlyn's world came crashing down when her father promises her hand to a wealthy but dull Duke of Manchester. Is her childhood love forever lost to her or will there still be a chance for her to get back her happiness?
