Bastian Marcel is a 14 year old boy who doesn't know any of his family or anything about himself apart from his surname. He has always dreamed of being a protector of the magical realm he lives in called Kera, and his dream is about to come true. Bastian applies for Elzora Battle School and is accepted into it, Elzora Battle School is the greatest war school in Kera due to the head master being the one who brought the good wizards to victory in the last war against dark wizards. When he arrives at the school, there is news that senses of dark magic have risen and dark wizards and there demons have come back to cause destruction and take revenge after the last time they attacked and were trapped in a dimension 14 years ago after losing the war. Wizards and witches fear this has something to do with Sivar coming to strike back at Kera once again. Bastian tries to prove himself by showing talent and courage in his training so he can be known and respected as a true protector and maybe have a chance of making the school's main team and battling against Sivar alongside them. But when a dark secret about him is unleashed it seems like there is no hope for any of his dreams to be accomplished.

When Zack notices that Huro is acting suspicious on afternoon after sport, he follows Huro into a forest nearby the school. It's then that he finds out that Huro is a wolf cross vampire hybrid and that he is actually the heir to the throne like him. Susanna is a priestess that had gone through black magic rituals in the past, because of that she is sometimes hunted by demons. She decides to help the professor because her experience with both protection spells and battle magic would help fighting the war threat. Elvira died right before the war ended, she was somehow brought back to life and encapsulated. Her body was restored with mechanical parts and a battery keeps her alive. After the crew set her free, she decides to join them and find out the real purposes of the war. Daniel entered a coma after the war and could never wake up. After a turn of events he got reanimated but he's got amnesia and cannot go under too much stress or else his body will fail.
