In a repurposed mental asylum is, in a basement, an orphanage. A genetically focused group named Magna (no, not Magna international, but instead Magna mutant corporation) is genetically modifying and engineering children (donated to science) to become future government weapons. Their associate, professor Rostyslav Kyiv (Pr. Kyiv for short), is the children's main keeper, is a hardshell man with a hankering for perfection. When Mako, a Korean mako shark hybrid; Emily, an American siberian cat hybrid; and Mateo, a Costa Rican grey wolf hybrid find an hole in the asylum security, will they escape in time, or stay in their boring, bleak and frankly disgusting home.
