This is a short four-chapter book meant for children. It tells the story of a smart, young boy who creates a time machine and embarks on a trip with his father, a historian, around Colombian history. They will explore the pre-Columbian period, the Conquest and Colonization period, the Independence period, and the period of the Republic. 
This book's purpose is to highlight the importance of studying national history,  and getting the youth generation interested in this topic.

(Ofc you are, bc this is a Camilo x Y/n fiction and will be absurd not to) This book may have not so many chapters, but it's because I made the chapters very long. When I was four, my family moved from Pascagoula, Mississippi to Alaska. Daddy was minister, and he went to Alaska as a missionary. That made me an MK, missionary's kid. This is the story of my experiences from age 4 to 9. Memory is a strange thing. Some of what I remember vividly, my mother said didn't happen the way I remember it. While Mama recently passed and is not around to argue with my interpretation, I apologize ahead of time to my siblings whose memories might vary from mine. While the story is based on my memories, I have added fictional details when my memory of those details fails me. This makes the story more readable. The bulk of the story takes place in Fort Yukon, an Indian village north of the Arctic Circle. While Indian may not be the politically correct term today, it was the word used for native Americans when I was a child and so that is what I will use.
