Catching her boyfriend cheating on her at a college party she leaves early to the airport to go to her grandma's place in Orlando, Florida.

Getting into a car crash she wakes up 22 days later - still in her car. Thinking that she'd just been passed out for just a few hours she wonders off alone thinking that nothing has changed in her absence. She's DEAD wrong.

The world has changed excessively. The dead was walking about, eating people. There she meets a 9 year old girl named Sophia. She takes her to safety in her small group as Aaliyah assumes as "homeless people."

Now finding out about the new world and how to survive in it. Will this four-eyed no instincts freak survive it?

BTW: The main character is like me in some ways. The only diffrence between us is that she's a young adult and probably has more sense then me.

Survivor Side Stories has the same characters but are in completely different scenarios and some of the people in it probably don't end up with the group until later chapter (episodes for the comic series.)

The reason why it's called "That Loser Who Fights Zombies for a Living" anyways is because so far the zombies rule the world and people who're still alive and don't know how to fend for themselves are "The Losers" and that's who we pretty much are focusing on.
