"Why don't you just let me leave. I'm fine. Just go." Mason says
"You're not fine. So I'm not leaving." I say
"Then I will." Mason says as he starts to turn around. I grab his arm, and when he tries to leave, my hand slips all the way down to his hand. He stops trying to get away from me. He just stands there looking at me. My heart is pounding. I don't want him to leave. I want it to stay this way. My hand, holding his. This time, it is Mason that breaks the silence,
" I'm trying to do you a favor." He takes his hand from mine and turns around all the way and leaves.
