Silver Fullbuster thinks he is too old to take care of his son, Gray Fullbuster. So he decides that the only way to fulfil his best friends promise and to find someone to look after his son is to marry him off to Ray Locker's only daughter, Juvia Lockser. Gray didn't like the idea at first, but when he met her he fell in love with her at first sight... but there is one problem.

As Juvia's personality starts to unfold, Gray finds himself seeing the resemblance in her and the woman he thought he forgot about a long time ago, his mother Mika.
