I wrote this story for a friend. So the whole teenage promise to marry at 35 was her idea and I basically wrote the rest out of my pure imagination.
Plot: Riley met Garrett when she was crying at the park one cold night after a stupid meaningless break up. Garrett is strange and cynical with a complicated childhood that doesn't hold him back. Riley's an optimist with hopes to have some sort of bright future, even if she doesn't know exactly what kind of future it'll be. They go their separate ways after high school and that should've been that. But Riley's love life is slowly going bleak, if only Garrett was still around...

I wrote this story before I knew what I was even doing! This was written in 2011 and is unedited and sloppy. It's the first story I ever wrote. Maybe one day I'll be able to do an edit now that I know what I'm doing more. First step, moving out of my parent's house. Second step, finding a roommate. Kendra finally thought she was free. She's 21 and getting a place away from her parents. She never thought it was going to be this hard but when you end up with a sex-crazed roommate that doesn't know the meaning of quiet or privacy... things can get a little complicated. Some warnings + before reads I guess --- As a huge Snow White's Poison Bite fan, who also got inspired by another user's interpretation of the TSOKK album, I decided to write this short story. - the story is written in third person, sometimes switching to first person depending on the character I am writing and if I feel like it - I do NOT own any of these characters as they are real people (okay... I have renamed the jock and the blondie he hooked with since they needed some names in order to clarify my vision of the story though.
