I wrote this story for a friend. So the whole teenage promise to marry at 35 was her idea and I basically wrote the rest out of my pure imagination.
Plot: Riley met Garrett when she was crying at the park one cold night after a stupid meaningless break up. Garrett is strange and cynical with a complicated childhood that doesn't hold him back. Riley's an optimist with hopes to have some sort of bright future, even if she doesn't know exactly what kind of future it'll be. They go their separate ways after high school and that should've been that. But Riley's love life is slowly going bleak, if only Garrett was still around...

I wrote this when I was younger. It's when I first started writing mature scenes so it's a tad cringy and super rushed. Just to warn you. In Ivory Jenkins senior year, she wants to commit herself to soccer. She had dreamt of this since she was the age of five. The only thing that kept her from playing soccer, was her parents. What they didn't know is that she has been making money to pay to play for a club team. Scouts have already seen her but want to see her play for her school, which means she can no longer play soccer behind her parents back. They had money, they were set but definitely far from rich. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! The three of us sat, we already bought some drinks and snacks. The game soon started and I began to read. "Player down!" Someone yelled as they ran a crossed the field. My head snapped up to get a look and I saw number 22 sitting up with one leg bent and the other laying on the ground. He seamed calm. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.

Origin of this story? This person I adore. Schools ending and I am not planning to confess to her so instead I just wrote everything that I imagined us doing in this story. but of course not all of them are based on facts especially the "smut" parts but anyway I hope you enjoy this short story :) UPDATE EVEN THOUGH I HAVENT PUBLISHED THIS. Its June 23rd. One more day til schools over. Guess what I just found out. Yea.. she's in a relationship. This might or might now affect the story line I'm originally planning to write.
