The idea was created from a comic called BABTQFTIM, which stands for; Bendy And Boris, The Quest For The Ink Machine. The best part about this is that you don't even need to have seen the comic (although I highly recommend you do, its a great comic, you can look it up on youtube and watch Hailey~Senpai do a voiceover for it!) to understand what's going on in the book since this has, as I've said, all the elements you could ever need in something you read.
