The year is 3009. There are only 150 countries left on the Earth, about 20 from wars but most have been flooded. Either way, it leads back to the Floods. The HMS Screamer is on its normal patrol of the Madagascar sea ( where Madagascar used to be) when disaster strikes. This is a cliff hanger, so you'll all just have to wait for the end to come out this summer!
