Nalia Jacobs lives in what used to be the east side of California, renamed Demic, a provincial, dim-witted town. Unfortuantely, things in Demic aren’t all fun and games. A mysterious gang called the Kaito run the streets, taking girls and forcing them into labor or even prostitution. Nalia doesn’t think it’s as bad as her parents make it out to be and, tired of being locked away in her room, distrusted by her emotionally draining family, she sneaks out to go to a party with her friends. When her best friend is taken by the only boy who’s ever noticed her, she’s thrown into a world of lust, violence, beautiful women and distrusted servants.

In a world where girls are seen as either objects of pleasure or permanent trophies, a world where money rules over everything else, Nalia is determined to escape the hold the Kaito has on her, find her best friend, and take down the Kaito. But will falling in love with its leader put a dent in her plans? Could she destroy the only thing he lives for?
