Sydney was just your average freshman.. well as average as she could be. Shes got one overprotective parent and one parent that doesn't care. Her mom doesn't let her breath by herself, but her dad doesnt give 2 shits if she was to get pregnant. Shes so tired of the diversity,  and wishes for them to be more alike. She has obviously never heard the phrase "Be careful what you wish for"

Now throw in Greg. A smart sophisticated sophomore... in college.  Sydney meets him and dreads his existance.. until she actually speaks to him. She quickly realises books can't be judged by their cover.

Now remember that wish? Yea that turns into a nasty plot twist. What's in store for Sydney and Greg? Sydney's parents?

Primed: A Kayla Madison Story by MelissaHamilton2
37 parts Complete
Kayla Madison is a normal-ish sixteen-year old whose main desire is simple-make it through high school without embarrassing herself too much in the process. It doesn't help that she's being followed by dark figures no one else sees. When a man with incredible speed, unbelievable power, strange old-fashion clothes, and an obnoxious personality threatens her life, she discovers she is a rare "two-worlder" -a person with one parent from Earth and the other from Earth Prime. She escapes another attack by jumping through a portal to the alternate dimension, much to the chagrin of her protector. As if managing without electricity, cars, and phones on the more Edwardian world weren't enough stress; she finally meets her long-absent father, a scientist in the top-secret field of Trans-Dimensional Travel. Things get more complicated when she realizes her best friend's father, or rather the Earth Prime version of him, might have been the person that orchestrated the assaults. ___ Thanks for reading! I've been working on this story for quite a while and have drafts for a five book series. I would love feedback on what I can do to make it a stronger story. If there are things you enjoy, let me know (so I don't change those parts.) :) All portions of the story have been submitted and final chapters will visible by Nov 18, 2023. Among other degrees, I have my MFA in creative writing. I am a science teacher when I am not writing.

These Broken Roads

35 parts Complete Mature

Natalie has always dreamed about E Miller since that day Freshman year. She's never felt this way about anyone else. For three years she's admired him from afar, too scared to make a move. She thinks it's easier this way. She has enough to deal with. Her and her brother are on their own and raising their little sister as well, after their mom disappeared. She just wants to make it through senior year without anything going wrong. Elliot, or E as his friend call him, has it all. Dating the hottest girl at Jefferson, captain of the baseball team, cool car, and rich dad. What more could a guy want? Even with all this stuff, though he doesn't exactly feel happy. His girlfriend cheats on him every chance she gets, and even though his dad pays for everything, he's never home and always working. E finds himself missing more and more the times when his mom was still alive, when he was happy. What happens when these two cross paths? With the two broken roads they travel with, will the roads ever lead them to one another? *mature themes; viewer discretion is advised*
