Life is full of surprises! Especially in high school, where love can come from unexpected places... This is my story (well, part of it, anyway). It's a story about growing up in a small town, about the friends I made and the friends I lost, and the events (both legal and illegal) that shaped me into the person I am today. This is a true story; naturally, some parts have been embellished, had names altered to protect the "innocent," and some incidents have otherwise been fabricated entirely. Also, I confess that I may have misremembered some of it.

High school is a rough place, so I figured that to help myself cope, I'd write all my troubles down. WARNING, BOOK MAY CONTAIN -Swearing -Lots of sarcasm -Awkward moments -and lots of ranting *COMPLETE*

Emma Carpenter is a classic example of a nerd. She does her homework, gets straight A's, reads all the time, and never gets in trouble. Then one day Emma gets detention with the one and only Dylan Evans. You could say he's a bad boy. He punches anyone who pisses him off, sleeps around with every girl he meets, doesn't attend school, and is in trouble 99.9% of the time. And of course Emma can't stand him. During detention there teacher assigns them a project for them to do together over the next couple of weeks. Emma is furious. So what happens when Emma soon realizes there is more to Dylan than that meets the eye? ****WARNING**** There are some strong language in this story. This story does have a lot of mistakes, I will fix them at the end of the book. -Please read my book. Sorry I suck at descriptions. She forgot how to a long time ago. She only hides who she really is because she doesn't want people to pity her or challenge her. Mostly cause shes short tempered,but what happens when she runs into the schools most popular bad boys in more then one place were her cover could be blown? will she build more walls and keep him out. Or let them in, to break down the walls she tried so hard to keep up. Will she also break down walls they built together to protect them? Read and find out...

"Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. That's not how the real world works, sweetheart. I may look like a damsel, but I'm never in distress. ... This is basically a rant book. I might cuss often so if you're sensitive to that, you might not want to read this. Yeah, this is a rant book or diary or idk whatever. If you find anger amusing, then this is the book for you!

Well, there's always a nerd that's weak and bullied. That's either the damsel in distress or she suddenly turns badass. But sorry to say, my story is completely different. People fear me, no one dares to bully me, even the cheerleaders and our school's star quarterback bow down to me. Oh you think I'm the 'bad girl'? Sorry, but I'm the nerd who rules the school.
