I slunked through the shadows as I silently followed my prey down the empty street. I purposefully kicked a stray can and watched as he stopped to look over his shoulder. His brown human eyes searched for the one who made the sound.
I skirted the edge of the darkness as I stepped closer. I made my red eyes brighten so that even he could see them. My fangs lengthened and my throat tightened with thirst as his fear reached my senses.
"Go ahead," I purred as I stepped into the street lights orange glow. "I love it when they scream."
