Ceda isn't your ordinary vampire. She lives among humans as if she were one of them. She has a family as if she were one of them, consisting of a werewolf for a husband; Cobar, a werewolf son; Lui, and a vampire daughter; Zeya.
When she attends a clinic to see if it's possible to turn into a human, it isn't quite what she expected. When she escapes her horrible prison, she thought the terrors she escaped she had left behind. Little did she know they were awaiting her at home, as the clinic hires assassins to kill her and her family.
