In 1839, Great Britain invaded China in what was known as the First Opium War. The Ten Tigers Of Canton - Fu Jow Pai martial artists, fought their first encounter with gun powder. British soldiers swept through China's defenses with slight resistance until the country was fully occupied. Martial artists fled to the Beijing River and built small settlements. The original Fu Jow Pai masters were on the verge of extinction by the river. They hoped to carry on their legacy through those that would come after them. A descendant of the last original martial artist was born in 1876. Will he be vital to China's re-emergence? To stand in the face of oppression? Is a story that is yet to be revealed.
