She is tired of her father, a powerful male in the shifter community, telling her she can't fight but instead she will take care of her mate and children for the rest of her life. When she meets him she's not sure  if he will ever let her follow her dreams.

He is a powerful and dominant male in the shifter community. He's been waiting for his mate for a long time. When he finally finds her he will do anything to keep her safe and with him. Even if it's by force.
