Scarlet Stone's life takes a complete turn when she is pushed into the racer ways after her dad's inevitable actions, bringing her closer to the tracks. Being the sole bread winner of the family and the bearer of the consequences of her father's race, she has no other option but to nod her head to the decisions that others make for her. With school, the racing lessons, a nerdy crush and an extra job to make her ends meet, her life further gives her surprises along her way that she has to learn to live with. The responsibilities are too much to risk a misstep.

Robert Hastings, being the school dropout, has mastered the art of racing and is liable to make Scarlet a good racer. Being able to spend time together, the flirty and moody master behind the wheels, gets himself wrung around Scarlet's little finger. But when his past comes catching up with him, the mystery he had maintained has to be revealed and certain decisions are to be made which may not sit well with either of them.

Both of them had their lives, nodding at every twist and turn thrown at them, trying to roll along with it. But things go up and down a race track is what they said. One had to learn to keep things in balance to keep the motor running. But so did they.
