I looked in his troubled eyes as he stared at my lips. "What are you thinking?"
  "How badly I want to kiss you right now."
  "Then why don't you?" It as a breathless whisper on my lips.
  His brows came down farther before he pulled away, taking a few steps back. Turning his back to me he sighed. "It's... More complicated then that."
  "Why," I suddenly got my courage. "Because you'll take my soul if you do?"
 
  Becca was trying to live as normal as a life she could. It was hard for her thought as she tried to get over that fact that her older brother had died in a car wreck threes years before. Something happened that day, something changed her. A secret she has hidden from everyone she knows is about to be brought into light when a boy moves into town with his uncle. Reno is a mysterious bad-boy that doesn't seem to have any interest in anyone but Becca. She tries to stay away from him, but instead finds herself being pulled to him for an unknown reason. Her mind tells her to help him, but with what she has no idea. That is, until she learns his secret.
