Milo is just an ordinary Delievery boy working for the army. He lives a pretty normal life, except for the occasional nightmares caused by traumatic experiences from his childhood, followed closely by the stress of his job. And it certainly doesn't help his sanity that his Zoid is a pain in the "you know what". Chocolate, his Shield Liger, seems to disappear just when he needs her most. Not to mention she has her radar set for trouble. At times, it seems like she has a mind of her own. But, that's impossible right? She's just a simple Helic Republic issue Shield Liger, nothing fancy outside of a custom paint scheme. Milo's opinions will soon change, when his world is turned upside down and inside out by some rather impossible seeming events. He will get a totally new perspective on life and existence, one he never knew possible.

What could go right for the boy everything goes wrong for? Usually, Milo Murphy is well-prepared to deal with his family's... hereditary condition. Murphy's law may be a little troublesome, but really. Anything can be faced with a smile! Besides, normalcy would be boring. Who would want to be normal? Well, after a little thought on a slightly gloomy day, Milo sort of wonders what it -would- be like if he was... like the other kids. How would he live a life that wasn't constantly wreaked with adventure, hospital trips, and interrupted plans? Was that even possible? What would he do? He had a few ideas, so he made a list. Somehow, after a series of events that some might deem 'unlucky', Milo finds that Murphy's law is apparently subject to a few strange exceptions. Walking under a ladder backwards and breaking a mirror, or opening an umbrella indoors in front of a black cat, for instance, would usually be expected to cause some bad consequences. But if there's one thing Milo knows, it's to expect the unexpected. And after all, what are exceptions for, if not to be exceptional? * * * (My entry for @Fanfic's Lucky FriYAY contest!)
