They're here... The end came before anyone thought possible. We've certainly outdone ourselves this time and have brought destruction and judgment down upon us all. We will all pay the price. Now in a world filled with more hate and savage people, we are all trying to survive up against a virus that has come like a thief in the night, taking away all that we once knew. A new specie has risen from the dead, bringing us down from the top of the food chain as we become just another tasty morsel. Come and join me, Faye, in a bloody new world where there is little hope to survive the new threat of flesh-eating zombies. You will immerse yourself in this adventure where despair, instincts, love, gore, and savagery take an all but small role in humanity's new reality. Just one thing... Don't get bitten.

The dead do not sleep. The dead do not eat. The dead most certainly do not laugh. And the dead do not cry. 6 years have passed since nuclear war broke out, destroying the planet and killing most of the world's population. Different geographical regions have been affected differently, the climate mutating and transforming people into horrific monsters of all kinds. Now humanity must fight to survive amongst literal zombies, vampires, and horrific fungal spores capable of reducing even the strongest to nothing. Emily lives with a small, ragtag group of survivors, her friends before the outbreak occurred. When one of them falls ill, in dire need of medicine, the group is forced to travel to the hospital across town, where they discover something, or rather someone unexpected. Mark was a normal person before the outbreak, before he was bitten by his own father, before everything went to hell in a handbasket. Now he lives under the hospital with his trusty cat Buckwheat, hiding from the daylight and wondering why him, out of all the infected, has to "live" with the curse of sanity after his demise. A chance encounter leaves him wondering if maybe there's more to life after death. BOOK ONE IN THE 'AFTER LIFE ENDED' SERIES
