Flying Heights is not your ordinary city. Every Flying Heights citizen has an Ability, but that doesn't mean that Flying Heights is a city of heroes. What really makes someone a hero is how powerful their Ability is. For example, Flying Heights main defense against villains is Flight - a person with the Abilities of flight and super strength. Now, compare that to Andrew Calderon's Ability to talk to cats, or Ollie Stevens' Ability to know what the weather is going to be like for that day. "Not everyone was built to be a hero," they say in school. But Desiree Morgan, study body president of Flying Heights Secondary School, is a strong believer in people being able to do anything they put their mind to. After meeting Flight and realizing that he knows something about her that she doesn't want anyone to know, Desiree goes on a quest to discover his secret identity and bring him down. So maybe this isn't another typical superhero story, but it is a story involving superheros and supervillains and a teenage girl with lots of ambition.

Their sophomore year is just about to start and they decided to go shopping for new clothes for school and end up going into a magical store that they think is a 100% normal store. In this particular store, they each find a beautiful necklace that they think represents their personality. But what they don't know is that they actually just picked up an incredible, hard responsibility to handle. There are five different elements, death, fire, water, air, and life. Who will be there to help them on their journey? Or will they just have to tackle this on their own? Will they be able to rise to the responsibility? Or will they just crash and burn?
