"Why are you talking to me?" he hissed at me.
"I wanna... talk to you about something." I stuttered.
"You're not one of us. I'm sorry that my friends bully you but there's really nothing I can do about it. " he said and rolled his eyes.
I just nodded slightly and began to walk away.
"Fine. What did you want to tell me?" he whispered behind me with a bit of sympathy in his voice.
I slowly turned around and took a deep breath. Now or never.
"I'm in love with you."

On the first day of 8th grade Jack Barakat notices the new kid, soon to be known as no other than Alex Gaskarth. By just one glance at him from the crowded school hallway, Jack has come to the conclusion that he hates him already. Alex just moved to Baltimore and he already has all the popular kids wrapped around his little finger. How he managed to climb to the top of the popularity list is beyond Jack's knowing. All Jack know's is that he can't wait to be far away from the school, from the popular kids, and farther away from Alex as possible. Some Kind Of Disaster
Alex is a fifteen year old boy who had the worst luck in life. He'd witnessed his parents deaths, he was bounced from foster home to foster home, but this was the last time. His torture was their entertainment. His pain was what they thrived on. Then it went way too far, and he ran. There was only one person he trusted, and it was the boy he met at school on his first day there. He barely knew this boy, but when he needed a friend, this sweet, raven haired boy told him the most important word that he hadn't heard in a long time. "You're safe." Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place. "Now, what weakness could that be-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before a set of teeth sank into the sensitive flesh of my neck, sending an unexpected wave of pleasure through me.
