Jamie is 17 years old. They haven't felt assigned to a gender since they were 12. Jamie has dated both girls and guys in the past. Jamie's father, Gerald, recently discovered that his wife, Amy, was cheating on him. Since then, Jamie's parents have started filing for divorce. On top of all this, Jamie is in A.P. core classes, which results in them coming home with stacks of homework and 3-page essays to write. Their only escape is drama. Ever since Jamie was 8, they've been in every school play or musical. They have also tried to see every theatre production that their family could afford. Jamie is just trying to graduate as soon as possible so they can get away from the hell hole they call Savannah, Georgia.
