"You're lucky to have survived it" I flinched at the knights statement but didn't turn away as I tried to hide the fear in my eyes. "Yeah I guess I am" I said but deep down I wish I was dead too, I wish I was with my family, I wish I had been one of the people to perish with the kingdom. I wish I didn't have to be cursed with such a monstrous gift. The gift to destroy someone's future with one thought.
