There are times I fuel my ideas and ignite the motility of my fingers, enabling them to grip the object that spurts the ink that animates penmanship in one. This is when I know the capacity of my emotions have flooded and the dam of anesthetic closure has broken down: in need of maintenance. I write to cope with that, but most importantly I write because nothing and nobody can describe these excessively humanistic feelings or sporadic thoughts than the head that confines them and the hand that dutifully composes these words. Hence, this is why I write what I write in here. Thank you for giving a piece of your time to read my work. 💜

*COMPLETED* Over the years, I'd written many pieces of writing, and shared barely a fraction of them here. As of 2022, I found myself back here again, and in dire need of somewhere to write, and somewhere to share it. This is a collection of poems covering various states of emotion throughout a journey of healing, along with a few of my best from years before. Emotional Amnesia
Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say, "I know you're not". I have felt like this many times in my life; as a kid, teenager and as an adult. I have seen many things in my life and felt even more things that has been horribly depressing... But I got up. I stood up to walk on for another day. I dealt with my emotional amnesia the only way I knew I could and that was by writing it out into poetry. I wanted to forget my pain and forget what I was going through. I needed that cut of the blade or a pill to drink to take everything away. My poetry became both my pill and my blade... Now I share the most intimate part of myself with the world. The part of me I kept hidden in the closet. The part I never thought I would ever present to the world. Now is the time I have to stop having amnesia about my emotions. It is time to learn, to better myself and to stand up and remember the things that I shut out like a voluntary amnesia all these years. Those who are offended after reading this - f**k you! Wave (Book 2)
I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. This is the half-empty account off all those nights from December through into the new year and the end of March. ...I pains me to share it. But it also makes it just not my problem anymore and that is something I long for- freedom and peace. Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! SO maybe best to read my poems from bottom to the top if you mind the stuff^^^ *I think the more recent poems are quite different from the older ones. Reveries and Musings
Everyone, during some point in their life, experiences emotions, situations and adversities that changes them, sometimes for the better, and sometimes, for the worse. And then there are times when we seem to leave our body mentally, to introspect about the world, its workings, and the people living in it. Everyone has that time in their lives where they wonder about how minds work, how relationships thrive, and what makes them, them. Sometimes, it's at night when you're going to bed, and life seems just a little different when there isn't any light illuminating it. Maybe it's in the shower, where tears mix with the water, and go unnoticed. Maybe it's early in the morning, just before dawn, when the idea of starting afresh doesn't seem quite so daunting. But remember. You're you because of your past. And you're no less than anybody else. Join me as I put words to my innermost feelings, as I voice my opinions. Join me as I gather the courage to write down thoughts that run through every person's mind at least once in their lives. Join me as I break conventions, as I rant and rave my way through these emotions, challenges, difficulties, opinions, that have the power to make me, or break me. In the end though, the choice will always be mine.Complete
