Sometimes I get a scene or idea stuck in my head but don't see it evolving into a full story. They'll be one chapter each but may vary in length. You'll find those short vignettes here! No solid plans on when I'll update as inspiration comes as it will - at rather inconvenient times.
Currently:
-Armory: Awakened abruptly by unwelcome house guests, Nael finds men going on a quest requesting her aid have taken over her living room.
-Burn: Jonas is the last to speak to his dying grandmother, leader of their clan. She decides it's time to tell him the story of the blood red feather she keeps braided in her hair.
-Red and Gold: Death looks different to the person who's dying. A woman coolly contemplates her death as she quickly bleeds out onto the golden carpet of her family's home.
-The Side of Good: After the end of the war between Phillia and Stolryn, a soldier is sent to kill Vesh the Destroyer, the one who started the war. But when she captures him, instead of killing him she tells him her story.
-Slay Your Own Dragons: A symmetrical poetry piece with a fantasy bent.
-Ten Reasons: Are your reasons good enough? Might act as a fun prompt for someone.

"I felt so caged again, as if I had wings but I wasn't allowed to fly, a voice but I wasn't allowed to speak. It was a scary feeling at first, but later you just get used to it, but you just want freedom and the feeling of safety. Why did I have to be caged in this dump? I thought about the Phoenix again. Did the Phoenix hate me? What had I ever done to this Phoenix? I balled my fists up in anger as I stared outside the window still, watching a great brown eagle fly outside." ("The Normality" is part 1 of "Destiny of Fire", the first book of the "War of the Phoenix" series) For quite a long time, a legendary bird called the "Phoenix" tried to possess a woman and her children to come in hopes of taking over the world. When it gets ready to try and possess its next victim, Alisha Quill, a group called the Storm-seekers and another group called the Spreaders are hard at work to stop the Phoenix in any way possible, including asking for the help of the most powerful man in the world; Almaroz. Meanwhile, nine heroes rise from the most unlikely places and even though they don't know it, their paths are set to cross and their destiny falls under the feet of the storm-seekers and the Phoenix itself. Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.Concluída

This is set after Silver Flames, but will not touch on any events that have happened after. This story has 5 parts: Part 1: Before Ikarad, the second son to Feyre and Rhysand of the Night Court. Mated to Etera, the Shifter. Both of them are loyal to their court and their family. Both of them dream of a future that feels so impossible and far away, that when it is within grasp, it scares them more. Part 2: During Freya, daughter to Tamlin. Her life is limited to a circle of white stone. Her hair itches, and her dreams are filled with mountains and wings. Betrothed to a male decades older, a marriage everyone around her prepares her for. Part 3: Present Freya has known pain for a long time now and Orion is tasked to look after her. Orion, the outlier, the one that doesn't truly fit in. Freya's identity is questioned, all that she knows about the world starts to break apart. Leaving her to lean on Orion in more ways than one. Part 4: After Amaya, Youngest daughter to Rhysand and Feyre of the Night Court, tries to find her place in the Night Court. Her powers are greater than her brothers and her father. Her head is held high. Things still need to be clarified, still need to be revealed. Part 5: Beyond Etera needs to face what she has tried to hide from. Amaya needs to face her feelings.
