Lucille or “Luc” is a fourteen-year-old girl who is forced to grow up early. She refuses to believe in love and is afraid of the outcome of love after her first experience. Neglected by her parents, she only finds family warmth from her two brothers, Thompson and Howard. Since her parents aren’t affectionate, her heart is very cold, intense, and dark. The same goes for her brothers. One, as Luc nicknames as “Rejection boy” comes along, suddenly interested in her after their first unexpected contact. He then messing up the balance she’s been keeping up for so long, making her feel vulnerable and strange. She tries to keep him out of her life but she’s failing as he gets in with every change given. She knows he has a motive but can’t figure out what as he constantly tries to annoy the hell out of her with his irresistible charms. Did I mention that he has a lot of admirers?
