Ángela Vidal é uma jornalista que, juntamente com seu cameraman Pablo Rosso, faz uma reportagem em um quartel do Corpo de Bombeiros, na intenção de mostrar seu quotidiano. Porém o que aparentemente seria uma saída noturna rotineira de resgate logo se transforma em um grande pesadelo. Presos em um edifício, a equipa de reportagem e os bombeiros enfrentam uma situação desconhecida e letal.

Outbreak: The Silence Before by minariiverse

The story begins in a seemingly typical day at a school campus, filled with the usual hustle and bustle of students attending their classes, talking with friends, and preparing for the end of the school day. The characters, a diverse group of friends and classmates, go about their normal routines without any suspicion of the impending doom. The friendships between Denisse, Euanne, Eunice, Eunise, Samantha, Jasemaine, Lei, Lowie, Atasha, Eriel, Roa, Vaneza, Maia, Ryjel, Princess, Rhianna, Power, Kaizer, Stephen, Liam, Mary, and Keziah give a sense of community and normalcy, where everyone is simply focused on their studies, weekend plans, and sharing moments with each other. However, the peace of this day is shattered when a freak accident in the school leads to a rapid outbreak. A student from another grade interacts with a rat infected with dangerous chemicals and rabies, causing a chain reaction. That student becomes the first zombie, and the infection spreads quickly through the school campus and the surrounding barangay. The sounds of chaos and screams echo in the hallways, setting off alarms among the students who, at first, think it's some sort of prank. But as the tension grows, they soon realize that what they're witnessing is no joke. With the school's phone lines down and no way to call for help, the students barricade themselves inside their classrooms. The realization of the outbreak sets in slowly as they face their fears and prepare for whatever horrors await them outside the walls. Some are terrified, others are in denial, but one thing is certain: their world has changed. Their survival instincts will be tested as the outbreak begins to tear their world apart.

I definitely recommend watching those before reading this. It'll make a lot more sense. They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world??
