After Tartarus, Percy has been different. He's been eating less, and his powers have been out of control. Nothing too bad, though.
Until Percy's dreams are visited by Lady Styx as she convinces him to take another swim.
Just that action causes a whole hellhole of chaos to ensure.

A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react.
