Based on a excerpt from my novel-in-progress, this story is a historical rendition on events that took place in the commonwealth, England, during the seventeenth century. It's a loose adaptation, more of an alteration of events during Cromwell's dynasty.

Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell, has abolished the practice of art, claiming its inherent connection to sin--for its imitations mimic the divinity of God. These events have initiated, and evidently perpetuated a feud between the Jesters and the Government. A year has passed since the conflict, however the notorious jester Balatros (whom has been imprisoned) indicates through his prophetic tongue, that the fight is not yet over...
