Stacey Callahowy, the golden girl, dissapears after summer vacation and doesn't turn up at school.
Police are called and an investigation is started, but no one has come close to solving the mystery.
Except Tabitha Greanter, the schools head of the newspaper.
And she has to decide whether or not to report her findings or investigate more herself.
But she has her own secrets too, and if she told the truth...

I walk out my dorm building to the cafe. Just as I'm about to open the door I hear a person call out my name. I turn around to see the person jogging towards me. Hey that person kind of looks like Jase. Wait a minute... That is Jase. "Jase?!" I ask. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you just leave and not tell anyone?! And do you honestly think I wouldn't follow you?" Jase says. I don't answer I just stand there like an idiot with wide eyes and an open mouth. Shock takes over my body and I begin to feel sick. Lestrade Academy consists of two parts with a high fence in between that seperates girls from boys. Each part has two buildings: a school and a huge boarding house. Lestrade Academy is known for huge security, and strict rules. Zoe Millery was always a popular girl that every guy wished, ignoring the fact that she never was that School Queen on heels. But after having problems in her school, she is sent to the Lestrade High. Zoe has to fight the grey uniforms, sharing a bedroom, and a fence that seperates her from the mysterious boy she once met. But she was never the girl that listened and did what others expected. So she found a way to sneak out for meeting the boy of her dreams. But after some time, she found out that there wasn't everything as usual as it seemed. And Lestrade Academy was never a normal school. Ps. The only "mature" thing in this story are swearing words. This hope unravels when a paranormal entity takes an interest in her, and she soon begins to suffer daunting symptoms that are directly linked to a mysterious illness. Before our young protagonist even knows it, she's been swept away to a cryptic settlement nestled deep in the woods by a group of Tim Burton-esque strangers who lack common courtesy and have no problem getting blood on their hands.
