“Oh my gosh…” Alex looked at the soaked boys with wide eyes, maybe this wasn’t such a brilliant idea after all. Mark went to say something but the crashing of one of the monster waves drowned out his words. Suddenly Alex knew they needed to run. Call it...Woman's intuition. She grabbed the boys arms and ran, but not fast enough. A especially huge wave crashed down on the three and began to drag them towards the edge of the water. Sputtering Mark helped her up and they again ran, when they reached where the last wave had pelted them another crashed down on them. Alex, Mark, and Ben have one thing in common... they are all orphans living a boring and bullied life in the two orphanages Elm and Main. But suddenly they get the adventure of their life... an unexpected journey to the island full of mystery. COMPLEATED! Please rate and review :) Also there is a sequel in the works.

This is a story about life, finding oneself in unfamiliar territory, losing those we love, staying together with those we love, growing up, hardship, and above all else, finding a way through. Stay strong, dear reader, there may be rough water ahead. **** It is important to note that there is disturbing content in this story. I am not a woman, and I do not presume to know all the hardships a woman may face. I do not intend this story to take away from real stories, nor do I intend to make myself seem somehow righteous in telling of the hardships of others, even in a fictional sense. I only wish to acknowledge the cruelty in this world, and the reality of the suffering of those who suffer, who are hurt, who are victims.
