Tom drank heavily in "celebration" of shooting Tord with a harpoon. Unfortunately, he overdosed and died. The afterlife wasn't what he thought it'd be, if you could even call it that. He awoke as a kitten. Somehow, he finds himself in Tord's care.

Tord must trek the road that Tom once strolled down, now with more bumps and turns, along with an always present sense of danger. After 'The End', Edd, Matt, and Tom moved into apartments. After a while, Edd and Matt got closer and shared an apartment to save more money. They won three lotteries, which gave them enough money (with extra) to buy a new house or to rebuild the old one. This all happened in five months, people who knew what happened to them would consider them very lucky. Though they thought that Tord died during the incident, they would think of him from time to time and they would be sad. Especially Tom, whenever he thought about the communist he would try his best to get him off his mind. Though, no matter what he did, he never succeeded. He felt horrible for killing him. Little did they know though- Tord was alive- just not in a good way. He wants to die. A/N CHARACTERS BELONG TO EDDSWORLD NOT ME. He decided to take a closer look on them and keep them safe. But when he comes there, he discoveres something with Tom...

The story starts off a bit lighthearted and around some important character arcs, especially for Tord, it gets more emotional and complicated which may not be for all readers.
